Heat treatment and thermochemical processing

Heat treatment is one of the most important stages in preparing parts and tools for operation. Through the appropriate thermal process, the material gains desired mechanical properties, hardness, strength, and wear resistance.
At TOOLE, we offer a full range of heat treatment and thermochemical processes — from hardening, carburizing, and nitriding to stress-relief annealing and thermal improvement.

What is heat treatment?

The process involves controlled heating and cooling of metal to alter its internal structure and achieve desired performance parameters. Depending on the type of material and the intended use of the part, we develop a customized heat treatment plan that ensures an optimal balance between hardness and ductility.

Our range of services

We perform the following processes:

  • Hardening – Increases the hardness and resistance of the material to wear and cracking. Ideal for machine parts, tools, and components exposed to heavy loads.
  • Carburizing – Saturating the surface with a layer of carbon at high temperatures, resulting in a hard surface while maintaining a resilient core.
  • Nitriding – A process of surface saturation with nitrogen, enhancing resistance to corrosion, wear, and material fatigue.
  • Thermal Improvement – A combination of hardening and tempering to achieve high strength while maintaining adequate ductility.
  • Normalizing Annealing – Equalizes the steel structure after previous treatments and improves its mechanical properties.
  • Stress-Relief Annealing – Removes stresses caused by mechanical processing or welding, preventing deformation of parts during further production processes.

Why choose TOOLE?

  1. All operations are carried out in accordance with parameters developed by our materials engineers.
  2. We use reliable furnaces and control systems, ensuring consistent results.
  3. We tailor the process to minimize the risk of microcracks and deformations.

We make order fulfillment as simple and predictable as possible. That's why we follow a clear workflow:

1.

Data submission

At the start, you provide us with technical drawings, a sample part, or general technological assumptions. If needed, we visit your facility to gather dimensions and detailed information essential for completing the project.

2.

Technical documentation, quotation and order

Next, our engineers prepare the technical documentation, which you receive for approval. Once approved, we provide you with a detailed quotation and scope of work. After you accept the offer and send your order via email, we begin the production process.

3.

Order fulfillment

Your order is entered into our production system. We create a production guide, procure the necessary materials, and pass the project to the production department. There, the component is manufactured precisely according to the agreed specifications.

4.

Quality control and shipping

The finished component undergoes a thorough quality control process. Once completed, we notify you that the work is finished. We issue the necessary documents and arrange the delivery method – you can either pick up the order in person or have it shipped to you.
