Reverse engineering

Reproducing machine components using reverse engineering

Reverse engineering is a process that allows the reconstruction of worn or unavailable machine parts in their original form. By combining engineering expertise with modern measuring tools, we are able to accurately replicate even the most complex components.

Our tool shop specializes in preparing technical documentation that enables the production of a new part identical to the original.

Reverse engineering step by step

The reverse engineering process begins with an analysis of the existing part, which is either worn or no longer available on the market. Next:

  • Take precise measurements – using specialized measuring tools or a 3D scanner, which allows us to replicate the shape with high accuracy.

  • Analyze technical parameters and specifications – based on our engineering expertise, we determine the materials, tolerances, and mechanical properties.

  • Develop technical documentation – we create a 3D model and 2D drawings ready for production.

W efekcie powstaje komplet dokumentów, który pozwala na dokładne odtworzenie części i przywrócenie pełnej funkcjonalności maszyny.

What you receive as part of the service?

As part of the service, we prepare:

  • a 3D model of the reconstructed part
  • 2D technical drawings
  • material and technological specifications
  • complete production documentation, enabling the part to be manufactured in our tool shop or by another manufacturer.

Why choose reverse engineering at TOOLE?

  1. Accurate reproduction of the original – 3D scanning and parameter analysis ensure conformity with the original part.
  2. Availability of technical documentation – you receive a complete project that can be used in the future.
  3. Support from experienced engineers – our specialists ensure that every part meets all technical requirements.
  4. Modern technologies – we use 3D scanning, CAD modeling, and top-class engineering software.

We make order fulfillment as simple and predictable as possible. That's why we follow a clear workflow:

1.

Data submission

At the start, you provide us with technical drawings, a sample part, or general technological assumptions. If needed, we visit your facility to gather dimensions and detailed information essential for completing the project.

2.

Technical documentation, quotation and order

Next, our engineers prepare the technical documentation, which you receive for approval. Once approved, we provide you with a detailed quotation and scope of work. After you accept the offer and send your order via email, we begin the production process.

3.

Order fulfillment

Your order is entered into our production system. We create a production guide, procure the necessary materials, and pass the project to the production department. There, the component is manufactured precisely according to the agreed specifications.

4.

Quality control and shipping

The finished component undergoes a thorough quality control process. Once completed, we notify you that the work is finished. We issue the necessary documents and arrange the delivery method – you can either pick up the order in person or have it shipped to you.
